Car Falls 350 Feet But Occupants Escape

Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Last Night. A miraculous escape from being killed was the good fortune of a featherston resident Horace Nelson Tulloch, single, aged about 30, late on Friday night. Tulloch was proceeding over the Rimutakas when his car fell into a washout and was precipitated about 350 feet into the gully below. Tulloch was rendered unconscious but later recovering he walked home and was admitted to a private hospital suffering from head injuries, 37 stitches being inserted.

Another occupant of the car escaped with a severe shaking, also walking Lome.
