Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Last Night. The South Island rifle championship opened on Friday, but only the service matches were completed owing to the heavy rain. . The meeting was completed on Saturday. The entries were very disappointing. Results: The Marlborough Belt was won by C J Nix (Featherston); Midfield Aggregate, W. H. West (Blenheim); Barker Cup, W. H. West; Murray Cup, C. Hadfield (Kaituna); Rutherford Cup, C. Hadfield; Masefield Cup, C. J. biix, Mitchell Cup, W. Martyn (Kelsen). Stead tyro gold medal, S. Neilscn ( lington Suburbs). ~m .
