! During the services of St. Andrew’s Church yesterday, Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A., made reference to the passing away of Mrs. Paterson, of Ferguson street. "She was,” ho said, "one of the oldest members of this congregation and although failing strength, and impaired powers prevented her in her latter years from taking an active part in the work, she was until quite recently a, familiar figure at our Communion services. Although slio could actually hear nothing of the service she loved to be in her place in God’s sanctuary and to feel herself in the spirit and to share with others in the fellowship of worship. She has now been called to that higher fellowship—the fellowship of the saints in light, and wo to-day remember her loved ones whose Christmas joy has been overshadowed by this cloud.”
