Not only has Margaret Beattie put up a record performance in attendance at the day school but at yesterday’s prize-giving at West End Sunday school it was announced that she had not been absent or late for Sunday school in the last six years four months. Special mention was also mado of her sister Joan who had only been absent twice (while in hospital), in six years, during which period she had never been late either. Both girls were warmly congratulated. A successful street stall was held in the Square on Saturday to raise funas lor tho To Awe Awe troop of Scorns to go into camp iri January. Mrs 11. Facer was in charge of the stall and i she was assisted by Mrs J. Creighton 1 and Mrs G. L. Turnbull, also the Scours. There were several competitions to augment the funds tho winner of tho dinner being Mrs C. L. Turnbull (99) and ! of tho box of chocolates Mrs A. E. j Mansford, ticket number 29.
