CRICKET. From Our Own Correspondent. The ground underfoot has been too heavy for local crickcteors to gain much practice, but a week-end match was indulged in between maiiied '• single men. The single men eventually gained the victory. Readers are reminded of the Rose Show which is being held in the hall on Wednesday. Mr J. B. Congreve M.1.Q., plant engineer and works manager of the Bangitikei County Council Iloadstone Mill, Kakariki, has received advice that ho has been admitted as a member of the Institute of Quarrying.
