St. John’s Girls’ Club

CONCERT AND DANCE. On Monday evening the St. John’s Girls’ Club, Feilding, conducted a concert and dance in aid of the church funds, wM'h was largely attended. The various numbers provided for tho concert were all well received and contributed largely to tho success of the evening. Tho programme was provided by the Pierrette Troupe (Misses E. Geary, E. Young, M. Morphy, L. Geary, M. Brandt, M. Sileoclc, K. Morphy, P. Mann, I Street and W. Geary') “Egg Song” and “Poor Old Joe”; vocal duet, “The Keys of Heaven” by Misses J. Revere and V. Waugh; flute solo, “Melody in F” by Mr M. Ha>.smann; Pierrette Troupe, “Sister Mary” and “Smiling Irish Eyes”; skipping dance, Miss Joyce Hayward; piano solo, Miss Francis Revere; Piorcttc Troupe, “Round” and “Painting the Clouds with Sunshine”; vocal duet, “Night of Stans and Night of Lovo”, Misses M. Morphy and E. Gciary; musical monologue, “Foolish Questions”, Miss Y. Barltrop; finale by the Pierrette Troupe in Club Skits. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Fletcher and Misses Revere, Foster and L. Geary. After supper bad been partaken of an enjoyable dance was held.
