At Hamilton (Ontario) running as tho guest in the weekly twilight meet of the Hamilton Olympic Club ou Friday night, Allan Hillhouse, of the Australian team, won the three-mile race in a stirring battle with Savidan, the New Zealander. He bettered tho Canadian record for tho event, his time beiug 14niin. 25}sec. Golding (Australia) .ran a quarter mile in 50scc. Ho was; placed second to Wheeler, of Hamilton) with 30 yards handicap. Australia and New Zealand are anxious for tho Canadian athletes to visit there in December and January. The managers of tho teams stated on Friday that an effort would be made to secure the Olympic sprint champion, Williams, Ball the quarter miler, and Edwards, the half miler, and others.
