More Indian Leaders Arrested
AFTER AMAZING KCENES IN BOMBAY tlnited Press Association. —By Electrie Telegraph. —Copyright. Received Sunday, 9-0 p.m. DELHI, Aug. 3. Tho Pundit Madan, Mohan, Malaviyaje, Vallaghai, Patel and three other prominent Nationalists were arrested at Bombay on Saturday following an amazing night-long deadlock between 10,000 processionists and tho police. Tho demonstration was organised in honour of Tilak, one of the best-known Nationalists, in dclianco of the police orders. Over a hundred wero injured in a clash betkeen a mob of 300 processionists and the police, who made a baton charge.
