Feilding at Soccer

WINS FIRST MATCH. Playing on tho polo ground at Feilding on Saturday the Feilding Association football team defeataed'' Rangers by three goals to nil in a good keenly fought match. This is Feilding’s first win and naturally their supporters were delighted with this reward for the young club’s persistent enthusiasm. The club has always fielded a good team but on each occasion it has failed to make any impression until Saturday last wLen it made an improved showing against formidable opponents. In the first spell Elliott put on two goals and in the second spell Fordyco added the third. Perfect combination and a vigorous defence enabled Feilding to prevent the ball from finding its way to their net. Mr Marsden was tho referee.
