Mr. A. W. Thompson, headmaster of the Terraco End school, is at present confined to his bed with an attack of influenza.

The rector of the Palmerston North Boys’ High school (Air. J. Murray) was yesterday sufficiently recovered to resumo duty, following his recent influenza attack.

Air. R. Irwin at present acting-head-master at Bussell Street school, will act as relieving first assistant at Terraco End in place of Mr. F. C. Campbell, who has been appointed to a permanent position as headmaster at Russell Street. Air. Campbell’s successor has not yet been appointed.
