SCUFFLE LEADS TO DEATH IN AUCKLAND
MAN FELLED BY BLOW. ANOTHER ARRESTED ON MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Following an argument in a boarding liouso in Victoria street west and a scuffle in the street outside, Albert Ludwig, a fisherman, married, died in the ambulance on the way. to hospital this afternoon. It is stated that deceased and another man camo out from the boarding liouso still arguing, and a bystander vainly tried to separate them. A blow was struck, and Ludwig fell to the ground, striking his head on the pavement and apparently sustaining a fracture of the skull. Subsequently, Thomas Nizich was arrested on a charge of manslaughter.
