CAR DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED BY COLLISION

COMPANION ALSO HURT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A collision between two motor cars ocurred at a street intersection at Grey Lynn this afternoon. The driver of one ear, Frederick Calpin, aged 20, sustained a fracture of the skull and his condition is very serious. His companion, Arthur W. Herring, aged 19, was also hurt. The occupants of the other car were uninjured. Both cars were extensively damaged.
