Miss Mona Gordon, a New Zealand authoress, who has arrived at Melbourne by the Baradine from England, states that tho first novel she has written, entitled “Torn Tapestry” has been accepted by the Fowler, Wright Company,, publishers of novels. The setting is partly English and partly New Zealand and covers a long period, from 1792 to the present day.
