INSPECTION OF COLD STORES IN LONDON

PRODUCERS PRAISE PACKING. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. LONDON, May 23. A party of New Zealand producers, headed by Sir James Parr, New Zealand High Commissioner, to-day inspected Hay's wharf, which is tho greatest in London.

The party was piloted by Admiral Sir Aubrey Smith. Sir James l’arr later cruised down stream and saw the Mataroa unloading butter and cheese at the King George dock. The producers were very satisfied with tbs handling. Sir Aubrey Smith eulogised New Zealand’s packing. The party inspector cold stores containing vast supplies of New Zealand and Australian butter and cheese. The officials drew attention to the increasing Russian rivalry with Denmark, New Zealand and Australia.

In a speech at a luncheon arranged in honour of the party, Sir James Parr stated that the New Zealanders appreciated the firm’s efforts to facilitate the marketing of produce. A director, Mr. Humphrey, stated that he would welcome ideas from tho Dominions relative to any improvement in handling.
