ECONOMIC MISSION TO SOUTH AMERICA
ARGENTINE AND BRAZIL.
DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS RELATIONS WITH BRITAIN,

The Board of Trade announces that the government has appointed an economic mission to visit. Argentina and Brazil. The mission will consider the industrial, commercial, and financial relations of Great Britain with both countries with a view to their development in the general interest. Viscount D’Abernon, who was in Germany from .1920 to 1926, has consented to preside over the mission, the other members of which will be Sir William Glare, representing textile industries, Mr. J. Rowland, representing the engineering industries, and 'Mr. Julian Piggott, representing tho iron and steel industries. The mission will undertake a preliminary survey in this country of Anglo-Argentine and AngloBrazilian trading questions, and for this purpose will seek the co-operation of tho chambers of commerce, trade associations and other bodies, as well ns individual firms interested in Argentina and Brazil.
