Weddings

COLEY —WEATHERSTON

A wedding of local interest took place at the Manse, Lady's Mile, Foxton, on the evening of 23rd April, when Mavis, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Weathcrston, Dunedin was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to James George Coley, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Coley, of Johnston street, Foxton. The bride, who was given away by Mr G. F. Smith, wore a frock of cinnamon silk, with tucked bodice and pleated skirt, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and fern. She was attended by Miss Elsie Coley, sister of the bridegroom, who was attired in a lace frock with tight fitting bodice and full skirt, with velvet trimming at waist, and hat to match, and carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. Rev. W. H. Nicholas was the officiating clergyman.
