BEQUEST MADE TO OTAKI HOSPITAL

CONTITIONAL TO SUBSIDY. Under the will of the late Mrs E. S. Mcßeath,of Otaki, the Otaki Hospital is to receive £SO conditional on the government subsidising the bequest on a £1 forAi.l basis. Tho will directs that the amount shall be expended in equipment and accessories for the operating theatre. A letter intimating the above waa received at yesterday’s meeting of tho Palmerston North Hospital Board from tho solicitors for the deceased. The gift was much appreciated by tho Board, the chairman, Sir James Wih son, stating that they would no doubt procure tho subsidy.
