Received Monday, 9.10 p.m. NEW YORK, March 18 Tho Young Australians and New Zealanders attended service at Saint Thomas’s ehurch, where tho Rector, the Rev. Roelif Brooks, told them something of the troubles tho world had gone through from lack of understanding. The present generation had, however, done much to corroct these mistakes by an abundance of excellent modes of communication. Bfe added: "You have seen much on your tour. Do not think however, that the America you have seen is what makes the United States. The true America is to bo found in the hearts and characters of its citizens.” The youngsters’ mascot, a Texan burro, "Fryvlo Caliento,” attracts much attention in a special room at the Hotel Prince George, where it is resting, after its strenuous programme, which tired it, despite its having travelled about the city in taxi cabs, except during parades.
