RELATION TO FUTURE LIFE, MINISTER WILL MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT SOON. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Last Night The Minister of Education (Hon. EL Atmore) stated to-day that he hoped to make an announcement within the next month or so concerning post-prim-ary education. *, His view was that parents and teachers who really knew most about individual children should during the last three or four years of the children’s education, concentrate with a more distinct relation upon the future life oi those in their charge. Teachers’ organisations had asked him to defer his announcement until they had their conferences in May. He was not prepared to wait till May but would wait a mouth in order to give tho executives of those bodies .an opportunity of conferring with him bafore announcing his scheme.
