SHAREHOLDERS CONSIDER SALE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Last Night. A meeting of shareholders in the South Otago Freezing company, convened on the initiative of one of the directors, was held at Balclutha yesterday afternoon to discuss an offer of the directors to sell tho works to the New Zealand refrigerating Coy. and Southland Frozen Meat Company for £60,000. Various alternative proposals were discussed and finally, a committee was appointed to ascertain tho amount of support that would bo forthcoming for the purpose of buying out investing shareholders and running the works in the interest of the farmers themselves. In the meantime, the purchasing company has announced that it desires to run tho works to full capacity next season.
