LOYAL MANCHESTER LODGE

QUARTERLY MEETING.

The Loyal Manchester Lodge, M.U. Oddfellows, held its quarterly meeting on Wednesday evening, N.G. Bro. A. Churcher, presiding over a good attendance of members. It was decided that the surplus of funds of £936 bo devoted to the reduction of members’ contributions.

Accounts amounting to £65 were passed for payment. The purple degree was conferred upon one member.

The evening concluded with a game of cards for tie Dick and Lindsay Gup when the Kowhai Rebekah Lodge members were entertained. The game ended M.U. 21, Kowhai 15.
