TIMBER WORKERS REMAIN AT JOBS
PENDING LEADER’S DECISION. United Press Association —By Eloctria Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 10.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 18. The timber workers have so far remained at work. The outcome of the recent Molbourno conference, at which Judge Lukin’s award -was vigorously criticised, has not yet been announced. A mass meeting of timber workers is being held at Bclmore Park, Sydney, to-morrow forenoon.

Trades Hall officials stated to-day that the 44-hour trouble in the timber industry was likely to coino to a head on Monday, when m the absence of any intimation from the mill owners that tbey will meet the union tives, 10,000 timber workers will begin a strike in all States.
