ORDER OF ST. JOHN
TOUR OF INSPECTION BY ENGLISH OFFICERS.

AUCKLAND, Last Night. A delegation representing the Ven erable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, will arrive in Auckland Aorangi on Sunday. The delegation has been sent out to Australia and New Zealand by the Duke of Connaught, as Grand Prior of the British Realm. It consists of Sir John Hewett, his daughter,' Mrs. Atkinson, who is a Lady of Grace of the Order, and Major M‘ liae and Lady M‘Rae. As Lady M‘Rae has been indisposed, neither she nor her husband will be included officially in the delegation to tho Dominion, although they will both visit New Zealand.
Tho tour is one of inspection, the delegation being required to leport on the foundations of the order and their work. Power is given members to invest, with customary ceremonial, members of the order who have been recently admitted or promoted, and to present awards. The Governor-Gen-eral has carried out those duties in the past.
