A message from Boston states that Dr. Schlink, of tho Royal Princo Albert Hospital, Sydney, who is attending a clinical congress of the American College of Surgeons here, stated thai American girls and women were seriously injuring their health and beauty by excessive cigarette smoking. Women who smoko incessantly become extremely nervous and neurotic and typical nerve subjects for hospitals and specialists. He qdded:' “However, smoking and drinking in moderation will not affect women but it seems they smoko continuously, because they have all day to do it.” •
