Building Figures. The total value of building permits issued by the Borough Council during June was £21,697, as against £7,460 for June, 1927. The chief item in this marked increase is the £5141 building at present being erected in the Square for the Friendly Societies Dispensary. Board. A total of £12,310 is being expended in the erection -of now residences, while alterations and. additions to existing premises are estimated to cost £1753. Permits for the erection of five motor sheds have been issued, the estimated, cost of same being £205.
