The foursomes resulted in three wins each and in tho singles six wins each, including Wethercd's defeat of Braid, 4 and 4. Holderncss defeated Jolly, 4 and 3; Hope boat Ray, 8 and 7; Storey defeated Lavers, 2 and 1; Robson beat Twcddcll, 3 and 2; and Charles Whitcomb beat Tolley, 3 and 2.
