OCCIDENTAL SITE
LOAN FOB LIBRARY TO BE ASKED FOR Tho Palmerston North Borough Council last evening, on tho recommendation of the special committee set up to deal with the Occidental site, decided to submit an application to the Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £II,OOO to enable the Council to erect a building for a library, and to include therein shops and offices.
