SUMMER TIME

(To The Editor.) Sir, —I -was surprised to read in the Manawatu Daily Times in the report of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce that Mr Barron (the rabbit inspector) should have moved a motion in favour of the Summertime Bill, seeing that all the dairy farmers in tho district and practically all farmers in the country are strongly opposed to it; as is indicated by the resolutions that are being passed by farmers’ meetings everywhere. Is the Rabbit Board entirely dependent oa the opinions of its inspectors? • I am, etc., FARMER.
