NATIONALIST REVERSES IN CHINESE FIGHTING
HEAVY FIGHTING ON VARIOUS fronts. [By Electric Oable-Conyrlght] [Aunt, and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Thursday, 7.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, Feb. 13. The Nationalists suffered severe reverses in the vicinity of Shasi during the Yangtsze fighting. Simultaneously Sun-Chu-San Fang, erstwhile overlord of Shanghai and five south eastern provinces, launched an attack on the northern front in the vicinity of Tsinpu. Heavy fighting is reported at Hsuchowfu, the objective being a strategic point on the Tientsin-Fukow railway.
