MOTOR CAR’S FATEFUL JOURNEY
CRASHES INTO MOXOR-CYCLE < AND GIG. v. HUNNYTHORPE LADY INURED. Seldom is It reported that a motor- \ car tries conclusions .with a. motorcycle and then 6(j yards along Hie street smashes up a gig... Such was the nature of a double accident; reported to have occurred in Ruahlpe street on Saturday evening. ‘ It is alleged that the cap was being driven on the wrong side and grazed the cycle, upsetting the rideiy who, fortunately, escaped with only a shaking. ’ The car apparently continued its journey and crashed into a horse and .gig, the animal sustaining v a .deep wound : , on the shoulder while the gig was badly smashed. : , In the gig was Mrs. Pederson, .of - Bunnythorpe, and she was thrown from the vehicle and received several abrasions to the head and shoulder, ‘ besides being severely shaken. She was later taken to the hospital, aear which the accident occurred.
