LYCEUM THEATRE
The (thrilling picture “That Devil Quemado” starring the popular Fred Thomson, and his wonder horse Silver King, is to get its final screcing at the Lyceum Theatre to-night. Coining To-morrow “Before Midnight” The daring lengths to which tnc U.S. Secret Service agents go in the performance of their routine du’tios is well illustrated in the picture, "Before Midnight,” starring William Russell, which opens for the week-end at the Lyceum Theatre to-morrow. The suspense is maintained until the climax with admirable skill, yet action commences wiith the first “shot” and never lessens to the end. Supporting Mr. Russell are Barbara Bedford, Brinsley Shaw, Alan Roscoe and Rex Lease. The theft of a gem known as the Nero emerald from Rome brings grief to a crooked detective, love to a beautiful girl, and an agent of the Secret Service, and adds new laurels to the crown already worn by that amazing organisation of government! workers.
