When Admiral made his maiden speech in tire Reichstag, ho was constantly heckled by Leftists, especially when he declared Germany must withdraw her application for entrance to the League of Nations, “otherwise the trumps will remain in ihe hands of our adversaries.” In continuing, he said, “We should not play with open cards. Everyone knew Drs. Stresemann and Luther entered a trap at Geneva. If their policy is continued, Germany will become a dependency of France. It is imperative Germany should fpllow the lead of the United States towards the League.” Dr. Luther vigorously replied.
