DYESTUFFS CONTROL ENDS
MILLIONS WRITTEN OFF CORPORATION’S CAPITAL. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Wednesday, 7 p.m) LONDON. March 23. Mr Justice Eve granted the petition of the British Dyestuffs Corporation for a reduction of its capital by £4,421,000 of which £2,841,000 was writte noff as lost, while £1,580,000 will be returned in cash to certain shareholders. The Government will receive £600,000 in return for shares', 1,700,000 of which it is surrendering The Government- will also 'relincxulsn all rights In the control of the company.
His Lordship observed that th:; control had cost the country £.1,10) 000.
