CHOPPY SEAS CHOP OUT CHAMPION SHIPS. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Last Nghit. The New Zealand Rowing Association’s championships unfortunately had to be postponed owing to choppy seas. It was timed to start at 12.30 p.m. but the committee postponed to events from hour to hour until four o’clock, when two races were run off as follows; — Maiden four-oared, one mile: :Avon 1, Awarua 2, Post Chalmers 3. .Maiden double sculls: Queen’s Drive (Dunedin) 1, Avon 2.
