At Twickenham, at Rugger, in glorious weather, 20,000 people, including His Majesty the King, saw Army beat Navy, 24 —10. At Inverness, Scotland beat Ireland 2—l at hockey. In the amateur billiards championship final the closing scores wore:— Earlam 1001 (best break 125), Helyer CGG (best break GO).
