LOST OPPORTUNITY AT EXHIBITION.

That the Manawatu made a (great mistake in not having a Court at the Dunedin Exhibition is the opinion of Mr. J, A, Nash, M.P., who has Just returned from a visit there. The displays by other districts were magnificent and gave the visitor a splendid idea of the prosperity of the country. The Exhibition as a whole reflected the greatest credit on the people of Otago and the promoters in particular.

The British Court, said Mr. Nash, was/ alone well worth tho visit to Dunedin. The concerts by the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders Band proved a big centre of attraction. So magnificent were its performances that one did not wish to leave to make the round of the Courts. It was proposed that before leaving, the Band should make a tour of New Zealand, in which case every endeavour should be made to get it to Include Palmerston North in its itinerary. i
