The Marylcbono Cricket Club is considering a proposal to provide 3250 additional scats at Lords, the cost to be met by electing two hundred life members at a subscription of £2OO apiece. Membership is so coveted that it is unlikely there will Ibe any difficulty in securing funds. Gilligan, Abrahams and other representatives of the sport spoke at the inaugural meeting of the National Playing Fields’ Association, at Albert Hall, ,at which the Duke of York pleaded for facilities for fresh air sport in the crowded cities.
