PALMERSTON NORTH WOOL. SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. MESSRS. ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS LTD. REPORT. We hold our usual monthly sale of the above to-day, Thursday, June 18, when wo offered a good catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen and everything sold readily under the hammer. We quote: Wool Oddments. —Crossbred medium, 12ld to 14id; coarse 9§d tc lOJd; crutchings medium, 7£d to BSd; short and inferior, C2d to 6ld. Sheep skins.—Crossbred medium, Hid to 112 d; coarse, 10Jd to HJd; lambs 10*d to 12d; dead and damaged 73d to Bid; salted skins at each—• heavy 9/G, medium 8/6 to 9/-; light, 7/- to 8/-. , Hides. —Ox, heavy, 9 id; medium. 9?.d; light 7d to 73d; cow heavy, 31/each, medium, 26/- each; light, 20/each; settlers cow sid to 53d yearlings and kip, 7|d to Bid; bull stair 3Jd to 4d; cow cut Aid; ox cut, 7Jd Calf skins. —Best ilnSs to 14id; good 13d; stained 12d to 123 d; .cut and inferior, 9|d to Hid. Tallow.— In casks, £33 10/- per ton; in tins, £2B to £32 10/- per ton. Rabbit skins. —38d to 40d per lb; horse hair, ISd to 19d per lb. Our first special calf skin sale will' be held on July 16th.
