GANG RAIDS AMERICAN TOWN

A reward of £SOOO is offered forthe capture of Otto Star, the leader of a gang of desperados, who on Friday raided the small town of Valley View, 50 miles north of Fort Worth.
They arrived before daylight in threq motor cars, bound the town’s single policeman and blew open the safes of two banks. Then they started a fire which destroyed nine buildings. Th e citizens helplessly watched the gang depart, shouting and firing a fusiade as they traversed the streets with the booty, valued at £40,000. The loss caused by the fire they started i s estimated at £30,000.
