DAIRY PRODUCE CONTROL.
GRADING POINTS RAISED. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Dairy Produce Control Board has decided to support the proposal for increasing the minimum points fo» first grade butter and cheese. Com pulsory cream grading is also approved. Shipping is giving the Board a good deal of concern, while little can be done until the -report is re ceived from the overseas delegates m to the possibilities of improved ecu tract. The Board will do its best lo eliminate the irregularities of past seasons. No definite decision has come from the Minister regarding the reduction of railway freights, but a reduction is confidently expected. The report from the New Zealand commissioner of th 0 British Empire exhibition Indicated that the New Zealand dairy produce exhibit compared more than favourably with the dairy exhibits of other Dominions. The Board supported the proposal that Napier be declared a grading port,
