ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A collision between a cyclist and motor-cycl st occurred at the corner of Broad and Duke streets during the lunch hour yesterday. The back wheel of the cycle, which was struck by the motor-cycle, was buckled. Botn ridps were thrown to the ground, but suffered only slight injuries. It appeared that the lamp standard at/the junction of the streets, blocked the motorist's view of the cyclist. BOY THROWN FROM A HORSE. [Per Press Association.] WAIROA, Last Night.
A boy aged seven years, the son of Mr G. F. Pardine, a well-known farmer, was thrown from a horse this afternoon, dragged along the road and killed.
