WELLINGTON, Last Night. Present indications arc for moderate to strong southerly winds, northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, with westerlies elsewhere. The weather will be cold, fair to cloudy generally with scattered showers pro-
bable, especially along the East Coast of the North Island, The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency in the north, and a falling tendency in the south.
