MOASCAR COP.

NEW PLYMOUTH FORFEITS.

MAORI COLLEGE'S BLOODLESS VICTORY.

OFFICIAL MUDDLING.

[Per Pkbb Association.]

NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night.

An unfortunate position has arisen in connection with the Moascar Cup held by New Plymouth High School. The flnai challenge was from the Maori Agricultural College, but the New Zealand Rugby Union ruled that the College is not eligible. The Union now telegraphs that the management committee, after consultation with the Director of Education, has reversed its decision, and the match lis to be arranged. The High School, however, relaxed their training, and were preparing for summer games, and In view of this, and the near approach of the examinations, the school has no option but to forfeit to Maori College. This decision was to-day communicated to Wellington.
