AN ALLEGED LAGOON. Pointing' out that his farm adjacent to the new gasworks was being turned into a lagoon, owing to the enormous amount of surface water being drained on to it, E. Hosloch wrote lo Borough Council last night. Tte attributed the state of affairs lo the' fact that the writer backed up through the concrete pipe which wan supposed to convey the excess flood water. The Borough engineer said that the man was outside the Borough and the complaint was a longstanding one. The letter was "received."
