The question of the reduction of wages was considered by the Auckland branch of the Amalgamated Society of .Runway Servants, and a resolution wa s passed expressing the opinion thai as the Arbitration Court had stabilised wages until May, 1922, any reduction would be a distinct breach of contract. A second resolution passed affirmed that the A.S.R.S. Executive Council should not accept any reduction in wages or oxtension of hours without referring to the rank and hie of the service In order that a ballot on the proposals might be taken.
