The Town Clerk gave lengthy evidence regarding the conditions of the tenders' for wood blocks. He stated that Alderman Bramston had always been a consistent fighter against the high prices charged for the blocks. Bramston had acted quite openly in connection with the negotiations for the tender involved In the case. The case has been adjourned till Wednesday, when the defence opens.
