Armstrong states that the conditions under which cricketers are visiting England contain certain features which players object to and want time to think over. It is understood that the terms objected to are the prohibition of players writing to tho Press and the refusal that they shall bo allowed on tour in company with any relative. WEDNESDAY COMPETITION. The Wednesday cricket competition was continued yesterday. There was nothing outstanding about the play with the exception perhaps of the match between Railway and Kia Ora. The latter team made 142 in their innings, and as Railway had made 195 with only four v wickets down, the match was concluded at that stage.
