Feilding Market Report.
Messrs A. H. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., report:—At our weekly Friday sale, which started at noon, we had a small entry of pigs, but of good class, which met with good competition. Fowls came to hand in great numbers and exceeded the demand. A good supply of produce sold at late rates. Quotations.—Pigs: Porkers 26s to 30s, sows £3 16s to £3 19s. Poultry: Cockerels Is to 2s 3d, hens Is 3d to Is lid, ducks 2s 6d, turkeys 4s, all at each. Produce: Potatoes, pig good 4s per sack, eating do. to 10s 6d, onions Id to l}£ d P er H>» swedes 2s 6d to 8s pet sack, marrows 8s sack, pumpkins %& per lb, bacon factory sides 7^c, hams 7%d per lb.
