Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.,,report on their Feilding sale on Friday as follows:—We had a good yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. All were in good demand, the whole yarding realising satisfactory prices under the hammer. The following is a list of prices realised: 4 and 5-year ewes in lamb 20s Bd, ewes in lamb 14s 5d to 15s, mixed lambs 10s 7d to 12s. fat lambs 18s, 20-months , steers £2 14s 6d.

Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. report:—At our Wanganui sale on 10th inst. we yarded 500 mixed cattle, 2700 sheep and 70 pigs. We had a good attendance, including several outside buyers from both North and South. Competition was brisk, especially for sheep. Fat sheep and sound breeding ewes in good demand, also better enquiry for hoggets. Wβ made a total clearance of all the sheep offered at prices in vendor's favour. No alteration in the cattle market. We quitted most J'ltpis after the sale at ruling prices. Pi*sS made a ready sale. Wβ quote: 7IV- ewes 15s 6d to 16s 7d, fat mixed sheep 18s 7d, fat wethers 20s, small 2-tooth wethers 15s 7d, empty ewes medium 7s 4d, f.m. ewes in lamb medium 10s, fresh wethers and ewes mixed 15s, mixed lambs 15s 7d, f.m. Lincoln ewes in lamb to Romney rams 19s 3d, 4, 6 and f.m. Lincoln ewes in lambs to Border Leicester rams 20s 6d, 2-tooth Lincoln ewes in lamb 21s, first class 2-tooth Romney ewes in lamb to Southdown rams 23s to 255, 4 and 6-tooth bush wethers 16s 9d, threequarter-bred wethers 14s Id, 4 and 6-tooth forward wethers 18s, fat cows £4 5s to £5 ss, fat and forward do. £8 18s, empty heifers 27s 6d to 80s, 15 to 18-months steers £2 5s to £2 8s 6d, steers £8 10s, cows in calf £2 ss, 15 to 18months heifers and steers £2 7s, Shorthorn yearling steers £2 2s 6d, do. heifers 28s, mixed do. good 81s, others 15s to 20s, springing cows £2 8s 6d to £3, others 88s to 40s, best poriers 26s 6d to 28s 6d, medium do. 22s to 235, stores 18s 6d to 19s, small do. 12s to 15s, weaners 7s 6d.
