Two Duncans Loft In

Auckland, Last Night. Tho New Zoalaad Golf Tournament, which was opened on Tuesday, was continued ro-day. Although the weather was somewhat cold, and though one or two showers fell during tho afternoon there was a large attendance of spectators. The coutse was in very fair order. Tho only event of tho afternoon waa She playing off of tho semi-finals for the Amateur Championship. J. C. Burns (the Auckland champion) met A. Duncan (New Zealand champion for three years in Buocesßion). and A. Fisher (last year's New Zealand champion) mot K. Duncan. A great deal of interest was manifested in the matches-, which were keenly and evenly contested throughout.
A. Duncan defeated Burns at the 16th hole by 4 up and 3 to play, and X Duncan beat Fisher by 1 up at the 18d1i hole. The winners of the semifinals are brothers, and are members of tho Wellington Golf Club.
